The Priory, Ipplepen

The Priory, located in Ipplepen, Devon, is a stunning example of our commitment to preserving historical architecture while incorporating modern design elements. This Grade II listed manor house was in need of a renovation and Co Create Architects were honored to be a part of the project. Our team worked diligently to sympathetically restore the original structure while adding two contemporary zinc clad extensions that complement the existing design.

Collaborative Design
The project was a true collaboration between our team and the client, as we worked together to bring their vision to life. The result is a harmonious blend of old and new, where traditional features such as the original fireplace and exposed beams have been carefully preserved and highlighted, while the new extensions bring a sense of light and space to the property. The use of zinc cladding on the extensions creates a unique contrast with the original stone walls, adding a modern touch to the overall aesthetic.

The Priory is a true testament to our team’s expertise in renovation and design, and we are proud to have been a part of this project. The property is now a beautiful, functional and sustainable home that will stand the test of time.
