St Boniface, Paignton
We are proud to present our design for the redevelopment of the former St Boniface site in Paignton. This proposal transforms a long vacant and deteriorating site into a well considered residential scheme, delivering 25 affordable homes for people aged over 55.

Our Approach
Our design responds carefully to its surroundings on Belfield Road, Torbay, creating a calm and legible layout that prioritises residents’ wellbeing, accessibility and sense of community. The homes are arranged to provide natural surveillance, shared spaces and clear routes, helping to foster both independence and neighbourly connection.
The architecture draws on local character while introducing a contemporary approach, using simple forms, robust materials and carefully proportioned elevations. The scheme has been developed to sit comfortably within its context, respecting neighbouring properties while making efficient use of a previously underused site.

Landscape Design
Let's GoLandscape plays an important role in the proposal. Green spaces, planting and seating areas are integrated throughout to support social interaction and provide moments of quiet retreat. The design also considers long term sustainability, with energy efficient homes that reduce running costs for residents.

A Need for Affordable Housing
Let's GoThis project brings new life to a neglected site, providing much needed affordable housing while contributing positively to the wider area.
