Springfield Care Home, Devon
The new extension will include several en suite bedrooms. These will give residents more comfort, privacy and space. Each room will have views of the garden and doors that open straight outside. This means residents can enjoy fresh air and nature whenever they like. We have used what we have learned from designing care homes across Devon, including in Exeter and Plymouth. The design aims to create a calm and welcoming place where people feel at home and can live more independently.
Care Home Garden
A new winter garden will create a bright and welcoming indoor space filled with natural light and greenery. It will offer residents a relaxing place to sit and connect with nature throughout the year. Outdoor areas will also be improved with accessible paths and planting that complements the home’s setting.
Integrated Care Facility
The updated layout will improve how the home functions for both residents and staff. Internal spaces will be reworked to enhance accessibility and communal living. This thoughtful extension will help Springfield continue to offer high quality care in a homely and well designed environment.
