Oakwood Manor is a bespoke replacement dwelling currently in design by Co Create Architects, set within a scenic farmstead on the outskirts of Exeter, Devon. This future family residence reimagines the character and elegance of a Victorian country house through a distinctly modern architectural lens.
Traditional Approach
The design proposes a substantial yet sensitive family home, combining classic proportions with contemporary spatial planning. The external material palette blends natural stone with smooth render finishes, referencing local building traditions while creating a clean, timeless aesthetic.
Internally, Oakwood Manor is conceived as a generous and flexible home for modern family life, with a strong emphasis on light, flow, and connection to the surrounding rural landscape. High-quality materials, thoughtful detailing, and a commitment to sustainability are central to the design vision.
