Co Create Architects have been appointed by a local developer to deliver a high-quality residential development on a greenfield site in Uffculme, near Tiverton. The scheme comprises ten new dwellings and has been carefully planned to integrate sensitively into the rural setting while responding to local character and landscape. The development is proposed in two phases of five homes.
10 New Contemporary Homes
The masterplan includes a mix of five chalet bungalows and five two-storey, highly contemporary homes. The chalet bungalows are designed with accessibility and futureproofing in mind, offering versatile living with modern layouts and generous outdoor space. The two-storey dwellings take a bold architectural approach, combining sharp lines, large glazing, and sustainable materials to create a distinctive modern edge that enhances the setting without overpowering it.
Context-Led Architecture
Working closely with the client and local planning authority, we have developed a site responsive design strategy that supports local housing needs while setting a new standard for rural development in the region.
