Set above the Cornish coast, the house is shaped by its surroundings. Large openings frame views across the water and respond to the coastal climate.

The Philosophy
At Belle View, the size of the house is broken into well balanced forms that sit naturally within the landscape. Views are revealed gradually, circulation is generous and spaces are designed to feel composed rather than open ended.

Materials are chosen for longevity in a marine environment and for how they weather over time. Every decision is rooted in the realities of coastal living in Cornwall, from exposure and privacy to planning sensitivity and long term maintenance.
Our Practice
We are architects based in Exeter and Plymouth working extensively across Cornwall and Devon, with a strong focus on large one off homes in sensitive coastal locations. Our experience includes complex sites, high value properties and detailed planning negotiations.
