Navigators Youth Club, Teignbridge

Churchway Lane became a vibrant new community destination in Kingskerswell, Devon created by the Parish Council in partnership with local groups Navigators and Kerswella Care, with Co Create Architects leading the design from concept to completion. This ambitious scheme transformed a once underused plot into a thriving focal point for village life.

The Vision
Our team worked closely with the community to shape productive allotments, landscaped green areas and rich wildlife habitats alongside a flexible, welcoming building for gatherings, youth activities, classes, performances and local celebrations. The development also introduced generous open space for sport and leisure, offering residents facilities for recreation, exercise and social connection.
For the Community
Powered by solar energy and carefully designed to protect and enrich local ecology, the project delivers a landmark venue for sport and leisure, while creating a place where people of all ages can connect, learn and grow.
