Pebble Cottage, a beautifully characteristic cottage restored for modern living
August 23, 2021
Pebble Cottage is a beautifully characteristic cottage nestled within the picturesque coastal village of Cockwood. The property sat adjacent to the conservation area and took a considered approach to create a spacious, light and engaging space. The introduction of a feature oak staircase created a centrepiece in the design, connecting ground and first floor.
Woodland Avenue in Kingskerswell, creates a real sense of space in this unique home

This project in Newton Abbot involved no extension, simply a reconfiguration of the interior space and the removal of a structural wall to create a fantastic modern living space. Simple but effective design solutions, including vaulting the existing ceiling as well as the inclusion of Velux roof lights help flood the space with light and give a real sense of space. A seamless oak floor throughout creates a clean and beautiful living environment. This project really made the most of the available space. A central log burner and stunning new kitchen completely changed the whole dynamic of the family home.
