As we wrap up 2024, we want to take a moment to thank our clients, team and everyone who has collaborated with us this year. It’s been an extraordinary journey filled with exciting projects, remarkable achievements and a continued commitment to designing spaces that inspire.
This year we were thrilled to relocate our practice from Newton Abbot to Exeter, marking a new chapter for Co Create Architects. Nestled in this vibrant and historic city, our new office positions us perfectly to enhance our presence in Devon while reinforcing our dedication to sustainable and community-focused architecture.
We were delighted to be recognised for some prestigious awards in 2024. We proudly received the International Property Award 2024-2025, celebrating our work on high-quality architecture. Additionally, we were honoured to be named both the Winner of Winners and recipients of the Civic & Community Award at the Exeter Property Awards 2024.
2024 also saw the launch of our refreshed website, our new look embraces the bold, creative ethos at the heart of Co Create Architects.
We were proud to collaborate with the Wild Planet Trust at Paignton Zoo for our 2024 Environmental Day. Our team contributed to enhancing the monkey enclosure, supporting the well-being of the animals and demonstrating our commitment to the natural environment. We are continuing to work with the Wild Planet Trust and are actively involved in other projects across the Paignton Zoo site.
Our community and charitable work will extend into 2025 as we continue to work with the ELM Wildlife Hedgehog Rescue & Rehabilitation and look to provide support for the Theatre Alibi in Exeter.
We were proud to host our first Golf Day at Dainton Park in Devon in support of the Children’s Hospice South West. The event raised almost £5,000 for such a worthy cause and also brought together local businesses for an enjoyable day of networking.
Innovation and sustainability have remained at the forefront of our projects in 2024 and we were proud to be featured in the Abode2. The article highlighted one of our prestigious Devon based projects, the careful restoration of a Grade II listed manor house.
The year also saw us recognised as the Best High-End Residential Architectural Design Practice at the Design & Build Awards 2024, a testament to our ongoing commitment to excellence in residential architecture.
With exciting new projects, collaborations and team members joining us in 2025, the horizon looks incredibly bright for Co Create Architects. Thank you to everyone who has been part of our journey this year. We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and we look forward to continuing to create meaningful spaces together in 2025.
