We recently brought the Co Create Architects team together for a special photoshoot at the beautiful Buckfast Abbey in Devon. With our practice continuing to grow, it felt like the perfect moment to capture the people behind the projects and to celebrate the next stage in our journey.
Set against the Abbey’s timeless architecture and peaceful grounds, the shoot was more than just a day out. It marked a significant point for us as a team. Over the past year, we’ve welcomed several new faces and expanded the studio in ways that reflect our ambition, our values and our commitment to collaborative design.
Co Create Architects is based in Exeter and Plymouth, and we’re proud to be part of a creative, forward-thinking architectural community here in the South West. Our work spans everything from residential design to community spaces and regeneration projects. No matter the scale, we place people at the heart of every project, believing that architecture should always respond to context, culture and collaboration.
Choosing Buckfast Abbey as our location felt like a natural fit. It’s a place that carries architectural significance, local heritage and a calm atmosphere — all qualities that resonate with the way we work. The Abbey also gave us a chance to step away from our desks, connect as a team, and celebrate our shared progress.
And yes, that very dapper dog you might have spotted in the shots? That’s Wilson, our unofficial mascot and a much-loved member of the team.
