Affordable Housing in Torquay
Brampton House involved the transformation of a former hotel into much needed homes for local people in a central Torquay location. Delivered in collaboration with Torbay Council and Armada Property UK, the scheme responds directly to housing demand while prioritising long term environmental performance.
By retaining and upgrading the existing building, the project significantly reduces the carbon impact compared to demolition and new construction. The design approach focuses on improving energy efficiency, extending the life of the structure, and creating comfortable, high quality living spaces for residents.
A Retrofit Approach for Devon’s Future
