As an Exeter and Plymouth based architecture practice working across Devon and the South West, community is at the heart of everything we do at Co Create Architects. This year, our Annual Golf Day at Dainton Park Golf Club was a perfect example of how local businesses can come together to make a big difference – and we are thrilled to share that we raised an incredible £5,945.56 for Children’s Hospice South West.
Check out the Co Create Architects Golf Day video here, kindly created by Konker:
The event brought together 35 companies from across Devon, with 22 teams competing for the top spot. The competition was friendly but fierce, the laughter was contagious and the sunshine made the day even more memorable. From impressive drives to the occasional “creative” shot, the course was alive with energy and camaraderie.

Children’s Hospice South West
We know the value of designing spaces that bring people together. Our Golf Day was no different, it was about connection, teamwork and doing something positive for our region. Bringing people together from our offices in Exeter and Plymouth. A huge thank you goes to our guests, sponsors, the team at Dainton Park Golf Club, photographer George Fielding, and Konker for their brilliant media production. We are also grateful to The Samphire Club for sponsoring the bags and to Daniela Hopkins from the Hospice, who spent a remarkable 12 hours with us on the day.

Children’s Hospice South West is a lifeline for families across Devon and Cornwall. They provide respite and palliative care for children with life-limiting conditions, offering not just medical support but also a safe and comforting environment where families can create lasting memories together. It is a privilege for our Devon architecture practice to support such an inspiring organisation.
