When we first stepped into this property in Exmouth, Devon, it was clear it had potential waiting to be unlocked. Our clients envisioned a light-filled, modern family home that embraced the surrounding landscape and we were eager to bring their dream to life.
From our first meeting, it was clear the clients wanted a home that felt open, connected, and functional—a space where natural light would play a central role. Together, we explored ideas, sketched layouts and discussed how to best transform the property while preserving its charm.
Designing side, rear and loft extensions required careful planning to ensure every addition enhanced the home’s functionality and aesthetic. We prioritised seamless transitions between the old and new, incorporating and large bi-fold door to create an open flow and maximise light.
The construction phase was a collaborative effort. Seeing the home take shape was a rewarding journey shared with talented local contractors and a dedicated client. The completed home is a testament to the power of thoughtful design. Side, rear and loft extensions have created a spacious, open layout filled with natural light.
